It is mustahab to stay in Ramadan
Muwatta Imam Malik narrated by Ibn Al-Qasim, Hadith No. 36
Ubh the Prophet Muhammad called Masjid crop bslath snuff then peace of mind alqabla fksr people then ajtmaua from allyla alsalsa come alrabaa film ykrj إlyhm Prophet filming أsbh said: ((height salad Who snatm film ymnany from alkruj إlykm except feel fear their yfrz عَلَيْكُمْ) ذَلِكَ فِي رَمَضَانَ.
Translation: It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) offered Taraweeh prayers (in the night) in the mosque, then (some) people prayed with him (behind him). The next night when you offered prayers, the number of people increased and then on the third or fourth night (many) people gathered, so the Messenger of Allah (saw) did not come out to them (to offer prayers). When morning came, he said: I saw what you did (at night), but I did not come to you only because I was afraid that it would not be obligatory on you. This incident happened in Ramadan.

Al-Mawtah (narrated by Yahya 1/113 AH 246, K6B 1H1) Introduction 8/108, Istizkar: 217
Al-Bukhari (1129) and Muslim (761) from Hadith Malik
Benefits:
1- Taraweeh prayers are Sunnah, not obligatory or obligatory. (See Sahih Muslim 174/759 and Al-Mawta 'narration of Yahya 1/113 AH 247)
2- Now that the fear of obligation has disappeared, Taraweeh prayers in congregation are better.
3- There is a consensus that Nawafil (Taraweeh, etc.) does not have Adhan or Iqamah. (Introduction 8/108)
4- The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was very kind to his ummah.
5- The scholars differ greatly on the number of Taraweehs. See Al-Tamheed (8/113) and Al-Qari Al-Aini (11/126) and Al-Hawi for Fatawa (1/348)
Qurtubi (d. 656 AH) said: “And most of the scholars have said that eleven rak'ahs should be recited. )
6- The claim of consensus on twenty Taraweeh is invalid.
Imam Shafi'i said: It is better if the rak'ahs are shorter and the stay is longer and I like it more. (In summary / Muqarrizi's brief Qiyam al-Layl al-Muroozi, p.
7- This hadith shows the love of the Companions for worship.

……………… Mu'tah narrated by Ibn al-Qasim, Hadith 29, Tafqah
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said about the establishment of Ramadaan:
((ِّنَّهُ مَنْ قَامَ مَعَ الْإمَامِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ كُتِبَ لَهُ قِيَامُ لَيْلَۃٍ))
Of course, a person who stays with the Imam till the end of the prayers is rewarded for staying up all night.
